February 1, 2012:
In the current Sirhan Sirhan federal case, California Attorney General Kamala Harris and her state prosecutors are trying to support some of their arguments by using Nina's 1968 FBI interview summary.
February 22, 2012:
Sirhan defense lawyers William Pepper and Laurie Dusek are trying to rebut AG Harris by arguing that Nina had made it clear in 1992 that her 1968 FBI interview summary was erroneous and that this dismantles Harris's assertions about Nina. In her 2012 CNN phone interview, Nina expresses agreement with the assertions made by Pepper and Dusek that her 1992 statement to Melanson is correct and that the FBI erred in its 1968 Nina Rhodes interview summary.
